The Central Coast, one of the fastest growing regions in Australia, is facing increasing development pressure to accommodate its population and provide more local jobs. The Sustainable Industries Project recognises the demand for local jobs, but also recognises the need for jobs that are sustainable.

This project: 

• defines industry sustainability
• investigates industry categories that fit this definition
• promotes sustainable industries on the Central Coast
• assists sustainable businesses with promotion and networking
• promotes sustainability to Central Coast businesses and the local community.
