Waterwatch Training Day
Join us for a free Waterwatch training session
CEN’s Waterwatch Program is inviting community members to come along to a Waterwatch training day on Saturday 25th May 2019- 10am-1pm, at the CEN office.
Come along and learn about water quality monitoring in your local waterway. Participants will use a Waterwatch kit to test for temperature, pH, electrical conductivity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen and available phosphate whilst learning about why they are important to test for and what to do with your data so it contributes to the bigger picture. It will be a great opportunity to chat with like minded members of the community and to discuss opportunities to join a Waterwatch group.
This project is supported by Greater Sydney Local Land Services through funding from the Australian Government's National Landcare Programme
Bookings are essential for this event and morning tea is included. Please advise us of any dietary requiremnts in the comments field.
