Climate Crisis Forum - What We Need to Do

The Climate Election is upon us. Now is the time when we must act to reduce emissions. Further delay leads to catastrophic consequences. Learn what needs to be done and how current global and Australian policy stacks up.

Can we cut our emissions fast enough? Is this an emergency? – come and hear the latest about the task ahead. There will be time for questions and discussion.

Guest Speaker: Dr Mark Diesendorf will detail how we will convert to renewable electricity without costs to our economy and reduced electricity bills.

We are in a Climate Crisis but climate change seems to be a taboo subject. It is a threatening phenomenon and people may be afraid to talk about it. The Climate Crisis Forum will provide a place where we can discuss the problem, learn about the background, find out about emissions reductions and how to reduce them.

The subject will be "What We Need to Do" under the Paris agreement, with an update on the science, discussion of the emissions reductions needed in various economic sectors and what government policies are necessary.
