We are currently seeking to compile a list of bush regenerators that may be available for future bush regeneration or casual work.

The CEN is an alliance of community and environment groups from Lake Macquarie, Wyong and Gosford. It is a non-profit organisation working to protect and improve our local environment.

CEN is currently seeking to expand its Bush Regeneration Team and is looking for suitably qualified and experienced team members:

Bush Regeneration Supervisor - Casual 37.5 hrs / week (6 month term with extension). Pay rate: $22.87-23.59 per/hr (plus super). Duties: Supervise bush regen team members; Undertake a range of activities incl weed control and seed collection; Assist with community field days; Conduct OH&S Risk Assessments and induct the team onto each site; Keep daily records; transport and maintain equipment. Essential: Cert III Conservation & Land Management (or equivalent), Min 2 years experience in bush regen industry; Excellent plant id skills, Experience supervising bush regen team; Relevant certs incl Senior First Aid, Chemical Application and OH&S Greencard

Essential for both positions: Commitment to aims and objectives of CEN; appropriate communication, report writing and computer skills; ability to work flexible hours including weekends; drivers license and vehicle

The positions are based at Ourimbah and may require travel throughout Lake Macquarie, Gosford, Wyong and Cessnock. A mileage allowance is payable for use of private vehicle.
