The CEN is an alliance of community and environment groups from Lake Macquarie, Wyong and Gosford. It is a non-profit organisation working to protect and improve our local environment.
Eco-Markets Coordinator – Casual 10hrs / week (6 mths initially). Pay rate: $25.00 p/h (plus super). Duties: Liaise with stakeholders; seek and secure stallholders; coordinate accompanying events; promotion; on-site coordination; reporting. Essential: Experience and / or qualifications in marketing & event management; Experience coordinating major events, promotional / media skills;

Nursery / Native Plant Coordinator - Casual – 16 hrs / week (6 mths initially). Pay rate: $19 p/h (plus super). Duties: Oversee operation of CEN Community Nursery; Coordinate volunteers & nursery events; Oversee CEN Regional Seed Bank; Provide advice on native plants to residents; reporting on activities. Essential: Experience and / or qualifications related to nursery operations / horticulture; Excellent knowledge of native plants; Experience in seed propagation and growing native plants.

Essential for both positions: Commitment to aims and objectives of CEN; proven experience working with the community; appropriate communication, report writing and computer skills; ability to work flexible hours including weekends; drivers license and vehicle.
The positions are based at Ourimbah and may require travel throughout the region. A mileage allowance is payable for use of private vehicle.
