Brief Aims of Group: To achieve least impact from underground mining. To stop further coal mining on the Central Coast. The area being explored by Coal Operations Australia Ltd (COAL) is in the Tuggerah Water Catchment. We need to know of any change that mining would cause in the catchment area, as water is more precious than coal. A community liaison committee has been formed. Our involvement after presentation of EIS is crucial.
Meetings: As necessary— Wyong RSL, Anzac Avenue, Wyong at 7.30 pm.
Publications: Periodic newsletters
Activities: Advising the public of events, lobbying liaising, research and education.
